CAMP CRAME ORDER- An
angry but still immensely pot-bellied Horacio 'Da Ho' Lavides voiced
his vehement objections to PNP Chief 'Ping' Lacson's ultimatum to
cops and PLDT linemen regarding pot-bellies. "I am a
lineman for the country, and I drive the main road. Searching in the
sun for another overload". "You see", the fat
man said, "the lyrics indicate that overload is
required", the PLDT so-called "expert" on media
affairs but still a relentless Samson floozy stated. "We
control their lives, and therefore may restrict phone taps by anyone
in our DOS (denial of service) areas." It is still unknown
whether song lyrics are usable as evidence in what lawyers
call "the infamous PLDT legal defense strategy". But
if there is a way, the expensive and counter-productive law firm of

a free public service to Filipinos around the world a link to
Pinoysearch.com, a free directory listing service.
While you are at it, you might as well get listed. God knows
when and if the REAL phone companies will ever get wind of the need
for this.
GLOBE HANDYPHONE ATTEMPTS SMART MOVE, BUNGLES
IT. In what could be the worst PR tragedy since metering, Globe
has activated an automatic voice mail forwarding that
used to be optional for the 'handy phone plan' users. The effect of
this is that all plan users will be paying a Peso a minute to
retrieve messages even if they do not want this system on their
phones. Today, PLDT.COM called Globe to request their stations
to undo this divert action. This afternoon, calls to the
"official" PLDT.COM cell phones were again sent to the
infamous voice boxes. We know there is a price for freedom of
speech. But Mr. Ayala, does it have to cost One Peso a minute?
EXPIRING PHONE CARDS!!!! WATCH OUT because the
PLDT/SMART cards you buy have an expiration date.
