Woe to ye men by these here presents: Despite the nationwide media censorship
imposed on our site by the powerful telco PLDT, we won two web awards
and have been featured internationally on TV, print media as well as
on the Internet. Lately, PLDT CEO Manny Pangilinan attended a rally
against the present regime.
This appearance by the same person who thinks nothing about sending
the dreaded Erap Police Unit PAOCTF to arrest kids running a small callback
center. His appearance at EDSA would have been a good "show of
support" for the Filipino people fighting his future ex-friends
Erap and businessman Jaime Dichaves. This is what his PR people would
like you to see.
But in reality, he has been seeking to shut down this Website, which
he is suing for over a million bucks because, as we interpret PLDT expert
witness "Ho" Lavides testimony, we spoke out against PLDT's
anti-consumer metering policy and legendary bad service.
We also question foreign ownership of a Philippine public utility.
It is sad that the Senate Impeachment court has decided not to hear
SEC's Ex-Chairman Yasay testimony on the questionable purchase by Metro
Pacific of PLDT. If this the kind of person who will be "appearing"
at EDSA, we suggest that we move rallies to Mendiola, where he will
definitely not have the guts to show his face.
