"Contrary to his claim, the senator's intention
in mentioning the case of pldt.com is merely to cite that a case involving
the issue of cybersquatting do exist in the Phils. We are not saying that
pldt.com case is a cybersquatting case , but a case that
"RELATES" to the issue of cybersquatting, only to prove that a
case of such nature does exist in the country". -
posted on a discussion board supposedly by Office of Senator Sotto ( a
certain Jojo ) in reply to a letter complaint from www.pldt.com
legal regarding Sotto's making pldt.com an example of a cybersquatting
case.
